Jose Manuel joined Roc Global in 2021 as a Sustainable Mining Advisor. He has spent his career in Latin and North America advising corporate, institutional and significant private clients in the U.S. and Latin America. Jose Manuel has been practicing law and business development in Santiago for more than 20 years. Previously, he was in house counsel for Fortune 500 mining companies like Placer Dome (part of Barrick Gold now) and MIM Holdings Pty. Ltd., (part of Glencore Xstrata now) where he helped in the building of world-class mines and mining projects. He brings to Roc Global experience in mining project finance, mining royalty markets and mining exploration.

Jose Manuel holds a degree in Law from the University of Chile and was a Fellow in the Master of Sciences in Foreign Service Program at Georgetown University. He is fluent in English and Spanish and can converse in Portuguese and French.
